Yael Stone

Stone was born in Sydney and raised there. She attended the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and in the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone started acting when she was a child, with roles in the movie Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. In 2008, at the Sydney Theatre Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer as well being named Best Supporting Artist due to her part as a child actor in The Kid. As well as her roles in theatre, she's also appeared in TV in roles of support, like All Saints and Spirited. Between 2010 and 2011, she appeared in The Diary of a Madman, a role for that she was once again nominated as the best supporting actress at the Sydney Theatre Awards. In February of 2011 she traveled in New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman, before returning to the lead roles of A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
